About Me
Frank the Tank
The world of professional athletics isn’t an easy one. For Frank Sorbara, it is a full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and a dedication to preparation with the ultimate goal: to compete at the top level as a Professional Triathlete. Frank clinched his pro-card and first place in the All-Age ITU World Championship Long Distance Triathlon in Penticton, British Columbia in 2017, and was the Top-Canadian Age-Grouper at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Chattanooga, TN only 2 weeks later.
The 29-year-old native of Thornhill, Ontario began to form his incredible work ethic young, as a cross-country competitor and successful Marathon runner, before switching to Triathlon. In addition to his rigorous training regime, Frank achieved a Master's in Science (Physiotherapy) from McMaster University in 2016, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from York University with a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Science - Kinesiology. Frank is recognized for his talent, nerve and passion for the sport, and being a little obsessive over his watch's stats.
